Here’s the deal. If you are considering rebonding your hair, please make sure you find a good salon and a good stylist. It’s been a while, but I decided to share this so you know what to look out for. Few years back, rebonding was such an in-thing, it was so popular, you don’t’ see a lot of premises around. Most girls came out with hair looking silky smooth and soft.
I went to do this at KIMAGE and my top was burnt!! I changed to another hair salon immediately after and they explained that the hair temperature on the top near our scalp is higher than the rest so it’s more sensitive to chemicals and heat and reactions take a shorter time. The person who rebonded my hair should have started 2cm away from the scalp. Well, It took a very very long time for hair to grow and there was always a fizzy section of my hair amongst healthy silky hair.
When I finally cut off that fizzy part, it was a year later. Because it was damaged, there wasn’t any serum in the world to help. Keep this in mind, ask them not to start from the scalp!
