You saw the adverts of Laneige and Bio-essence on television. Not too long ago, everyone was going crazy over facial masks, those that comes in a sheet… it seems that the creamy type has gone obsolete.
Cosmetic giants are constantly thinking of ways to make their products useful 24/7 and some of them pioneers have already introduced the sleeping mask, one that you don’t have to wash off, it comes in a translucent liquid and you leave it on your face overnight.
Well, recently, I tried the Bio-Essence one (Hydra Spa Energy). Not great. When it gets dryer on the face, it becomes lumpy and it leaves a mess on your pillow. Not much to sacrifice if you’ve great results the next day, but it really doesn’t make a difference for me, at least. I still prefer a good old moisturiser. Overall, will not be tempted to try on any liquid sleeping mask.

Although we all use a daily eye cream, we sometimes need extra eye on our tired eyes. After a hectic day at work, all you want to is to come home and relax on the couch with a mask on your face, or to listen to the radio or watch tele.
Some women hate using fresh cucumbers so they opt for cucumber eye pads. Those cotton-padded ones, like a cotton pad soaked in an eye solution kind. I have tried the PureDerm Cucumber Eye Pads, it’s much more convenient than preparing fresh cucumber slices, but they’re not as cooling even if i put it in the fridge and they don’t have that instant freshening up power like the cucumber slice.
If you’re lazy yet wanna pamper your eyes a bit, the eye pads can help… but if you’re really into serious eye treatment and care, get slicing on the chopping board!
