I have recently got my hands on some ginseng powder, costs me a fortune. Rather than mixing it to a ginseng drink, I made a mask out of it. Ingredients are:
- two tea-spoons of ginseng powder,
- crushed almond nuts powder, and
- just a bit of milk
You can use water if you like, I’ve tried it, same result. The almond part is a little hassle to prepare, you can also do without.
Apply the mixture over your face, let it cool, it will dry up. I turn up the air conditioner to speed this process up, once it dries, go to the sink, massage the residue all over your face and neck, then rinse off. No further cleansing is necessary, sleep through the night and you wake up with a fresh smooth face.
I highly recommend this for acne victims, the properties of ginseng helps to cool it down and prevent it from worsening. Would be best if you can prepare the mixture a few hours before application and apply it straight from the fridge later on.

This sensual and softening hand and nail cream smells delicious. After a good shower or bath, massage your hands with this.
It smells good, doesn’t stay sticky and you wake up with smooth hands. I don’t think it’s a very good formula for the nails, but a definite yes for the hands. You can find many types of hand cream in Body Shop, this is the one I feel that suits me best. Vitamin E (the pink tube) is great too, except it feels sticky on the palms even 20mins after application.
For white musk lovers, this is a MUST HAVE. Comes in a 100ml tube, last me about 3 months.

I have had a couple of stretchmarks for a few years now. I don’t’ know how I got them, I just did. No major weight gain or weight loss. I have not found the perfect cream to fade it, but I do a routine for it that helps keep it from spreading and over time, you can see it really fades. I have been on this routine conscientiously for a few years now… I will share it with you just in case you wish to try.
- After a hot shower, scrub the affected area until it turns red.
- Pour rosehip or Vit E oil over it and massage in the shower (shower should not be running). Do this for 5 minutes then shower yourself clean, but just allow water to run over the affected area, do not apply body wash or soap. Your affected area should still be ‘oily’ after towelling dry.
- Massage on your favourite stretchmark cream, for me, I use Palmer’s Cocoa Butter. That’s it. Remember, keep the skin moisturized, that is the key.
Now my stretchmarks are no longer so visible, but i will still continue doing this to see if they can disappear at all.
