With every 50 dollars purchase at Metro, you get a free 10 minutes shoulder massage by ADEVA SPA. You can also choose a paraffin hand treatment…
I tried that and it was no fun. You are required to dip your hands into super hot wax solution. Although I felt it did moisturised my hands, but it was so hot it was unbearable. The 10 minute-massage is more than worth it, gets you all revitalized for the next few hours of shopping! Adeva Spa will be at Compass Point metro until the end of this week, 28th March 2010.
You saw the adverts of Laneige and Bio-essence on television. Not too long ago, everyone was going crazy over facial masks, those that comes in a sheet… it seems that the creamy type has gone obsolete.
Cosmetic giants are constantly thinking of ways to make their products useful 24/7 and some of them pioneers have already introduced the sleeping mask, one that you don’t have to wash off, it comes in a translucent liquid and you leave it on your face overnight.
Well, recently, I tried the Bio-Essence one (Hydra Spa Energy). Not great. When it gets dryer on the face, it becomes lumpy and it leaves a mess on your pillow. Not much to sacrifice if you’ve great results the next day, but it really doesn’t make a difference for me, at least. I still prefer a good old moisturiser. Overall, will not be tempted to try on any liquid sleeping mask.

Who doesn’t love a great exfoliator? If you love a hard scrub and love exfoliators really sandy and rough and great-smelling, you must try Loreal’s Exfotonic.
It smells fresh, it gives the skin a really good scrub, you feel all clean and revitalised after that, no joke. It is comparable to spa salts and professional massage salts they make at the beauty centre. Of course, as with most scrubs and exfoliators, it promises to improve cellulite appearances, make the skin more toned and even trim your excess fat away.
I don’t’ think any of that has happened for me, but I enjoy SCRUBBING THE DIRT AWAY. That experience is just HEAVEN.
